Oregon hardcore/metal outfit American Me entered the studio last week to begin recording a new EP, the band's fifth record and follow-up to 2017 release, Still Firing.
Tracking has been taking place Interlace Audio (So This Is Suffering, Dead and Divine) in Portland, reportedly with Mike Sahm producing.
Notably, this will be the first American Me record not to be released by Rise Records.12 comments

Wonder if these guys have grown up at all? Don't want to seem too rude but some of these dudes had extremely scummy reputations in Portland back in the earlier days
nah still rocking that line6 shitty guitar tone, unintelligible distorted vocals and trigger laced neanderthal drums. literally no one asked for this. now that rise has a new owner they got dropped quick. expect a digital only release
Take away the triggers, excessive edits, and slick production and you're left with a really good drummer with really bad taste in music and 4 of his ding dong friends who still clean floors in strip clubs as a job and can barely play their instruments.

I heard the drummer has a new side project called HOSTILITIES. Supposed be heavier and more raw.
