Issues to release debut full length in February
Official press release: Issues have announced a February 18 release date for their self titled debut full-length which will be released on Velocity/Rise Records. To pre-order the follow up to last year's "Black Diamonds" EP, and to stream the first track, "Stingray Affliction" head over to: issues.merchnow.com. With the release of their critically acclaimed "Black Diamonds" EP which has sold nearly 40,000 copies since last November, Issues has seen a tremendous amount of success thanks to their innovative sound and constant tour schedule - opening for acts like A Day To Remember, Of Mice & Men, Pierce The Veil, Memphis May Fire, Sleeping With Sirens, and a stint on the Vans Warped Tour. Their unique aesthetic is more refined than ever, and after a year of incredible touring, the band headed back to producer extraordanaire Kris Crummett (Sleeping With Sirens, "Black Diamonds" EP) to create more genre bending tracks, combining heavy rock and melodic choruses spirited by dueling vocalists Tyler Carter and Michael Bohn. All of this is complimented by the infectious unique scratching and synths brought by DJ Scout. Carter and Bohn sound better than ever, with Tyler delivering his signature, beautiful, soulful, soaring vocals and Michael crunching onto the track with his fierce hard hitting screams. Issues have taken the ground-work built on "Black Diamonds" and created a fully realized album that is guaranteed to set them up as major players in the scene for years to come.
