After a series of Instagram teases, the members of As I Lay Dying other than singer Tim Lambesis have finally announced the who and what regarding their new band. The outfit is called Wovenwar and they've already finished recording their self-titled debut album with producer Bill Stevenson (of Descendents notoriety). A Metal Blade Records release is tentatively planned for late summer.
As previously revealed, the singer of the band is Shane Blay of Oh, Sleeper.
Wovenwar's debut single, "All Rise," will be unveiled on April 21st. In the interim, you can check out a new teaser from the band below.

Turns out he and all of Unearth is friends with these guys (their all Metal Blade roster buddies) He's listened to the prepro on this and he told me they'll probably go with him on this. Their his Metal Blade friends so he'd love to be on this. But it's not really a done deal. We'll have to wait and see.
Somehow, from some distant universe, this teaser reminds me of Hopesfall's stuff. Which would be amazing. ...Possible new reason to care about this band.
