Ruiner news and notes

Official press release: Baltimore, MD's Ruiner was a touring machine throughout 2008. Spending eight long months on the road last year, 2009 will see Ruiner shifting their focus a bit and writing, writing, writing. "This year is going to be more focused on making music", said vocalist Rob Sullivan. He continued to say, "All of the touring we did last year pretty much laid the groundwork for us to be full-time road dogs again after we record our next album for Bridge Nine, which is already in its beginning stages." But don't worry - Ruiner has some exciting shows up their sleeves, including a hometown show with Propagandhi on March 11th and a special appearance at the SXSW Music Festival in Austin, TX on March 20th. Ruiner will share the bill alongside The Bouncing Souls, Dillinger Four, Darkest Hour, and The A.K.A.'s. at the Shirts for a Cure Showcase at Red 7. Additionally, Ruiner is booked up for a Midwest and East Coast run with hardcore legends Agnostic Front in April. Rob said, "We're particularly excited to get back out on the road while taking time away from sitting at home writing. It's always a weird transition to make – road life to home life. I'm looking forward to both this year." Additionally, Ruiner will enter the studio this month with J. Robbins to record a cover of Oasis' "Morning Glory" for a split release with Hawks and Doves (ex-Planes Mistaken For Stars). This will be released on 7" on Vinyl Collective's Under the Influence. tour dates w/ Agnostic Front 4/1 Albany, NY @ Valentines 4/2 Pittsburgh, PA @ Diesel 4/3 Cleveland, OH @ Grog Shop 4/4 Lansing, MI @ MACS 4/5 Chicago, IL @ Subterranean 4/6 Minneapolis, MN @ Triple Rock 4/7 Omaha, NE @ Sokol Underground 4/8 St. Louis, MO @ Bluebird 4/9 Louisville, KY @ Uncle Pleasants 4/10 TBA 4/11 Baltimore, MD @ The Ottobar 4/12 Haverhill, MA @ Anchors Up

Ruiner kick ass but I would NEVER, EVVVVVER want to share the stage with those gays in the AKA's. Mike Ski is a c-ck sucker, and the only reason his name has any merit is because of brother's keeper, and his guido gf keyboardist is greasy as fck.

First news post that has ZERO negative comments about the band (that aren't jokes using song/lyric/album titles.) Lambgoat Breakthrough.
