Suicide Silence song pulled from video game over past allegations

Video game developer Capcom has removed a newly premiered Suicide Silence music video after learning of the 2017 sexual misconduct allegations leveled at vocalist Eddie Hermida (who subsequently apologized). "Subhuman," for which the band partnered with composer Cody Matthew Johnson, was to appear in the latest installment of the Devil May Cry series. However, according to ThePRP, Capcom pulled the track shortly after its debut at the Tokyo Game Show yesterday. Capcom issued the following:

"The music was recorded for the game before the incident came to light and we were unaware of the incident until now. However, as we are now aware of the current situation, Capcom has decided that moving forward, we will not further highlight the Dante battle theme for promotional purposes at this time. We are also currently evaluating what options are possible for the full game at this point, which is dependent on various factors such as resources."

It's unclear if the song will appear on the game, which is slated for a March 8, 2019 release. You can check out "Subhuman" below.
