Ohio's Premonitions Of War has several upcoming projects in the works. First, Goodfellow Records will be releasing the band's out-of-print debut, "Glorified Dirt," which will be re-recorded and released this Summer. Meanwhile, the group will be hooking up with California grind outfit Benumb for a split, which should see the light of day this Winter on Thorp Records. Thorp will also be releasing a new Premonitions Of War EP in mid-2004. Additionally, a few members of POW and Two Minutes Hate are involved in an unnamed "southern metal/rock" project which will be recording some material in 2004. On the touring front, Premonitions Of War will be hitting the road with The Red Chord and Deadwater Drowning for a tour this Summer. The tour will run from June 20th through July 4th, so look for dates to be finalized soon. Finally, in recent weeks it has been heavily rumored that the band has signed with Earache Records. Though an official announcement has yet to be made, you can be sure that the group will announce a new label deal (Earache or otherwise) in the very near future.
