Why do bands continue to book shows at The Knitting Factory in Boise?

RickRock 11/13/2014 8:11:41 AM

Primus still getting it done. The new album is weird as shit.

Boise has a small music scene that became divided between people who like going shows and... well... The Knitting Factory, who does not give two shades of shit about their local music scene, so nobody wants to go to a show there. Not to mention its a "gas stop" for bands, so 9 out of 10 times, a tour is going to come through there regardless of what other concerts are in the area at the time. AND Idaho has a low minimum wage... 4 potatoes an hour. its a recipe for low turnouts for sure.

I played the knitting factory in Boise back in August and was told it was closing down. Guess not...

Why does the Rams Head Live! capacity keep changing?

anonymous 11/14/2014 4:07:45 PM

There's a Knitting Factory in Boise?

The Roxy in Hollywood has an actual capacity of 575. Alot of venue's and artists are sweetening their numbers so they can bring a higher guarantee on next tours in those cities, plus the venue get's to say it sold out, when the venue was actually sold out prior, plus also radio ticket giveaways. 100 tickets were given away on kroq
