Misery Signals has released more information regarding their new vocalist, Karl Schubach. Hailing from Saskatchewan, Canada, Schubach was a guitarist prior to joining the band and has never before fronted a group. Misery Signals bassist Kyle Johnson had the following to say regarding Schubach:
"He sent over an MP3 of him singing one of our songs and it floored us! From there we sent him a new song and he responded almost immediately and we loved what he did with the song."
Schubach will appear on the group's upcoming Warped Tour stint this summer, in addition to a headlining tour with Black My Heart, Too Pure To Die, and Burn In Silence in April. Meanwhile, Misery Signals will enter the studio with producer Ben Schigel (Ringworm, Chimaira) in May to begin recording their second full-length, which will hit stores this fall via Ferret Music.
