Richmond, VA band Pink Razors has officially joined the Robotic Empire roster. It should be noted the band plays pop-punk, which the label directly addresses with the following:
"This may seem a bit strange as Robotic Empire isn't exactly known for infectious pop-punk releases, but we wouldn't be doing this if they weren't seriously bad ass. The band absolutely smokes live, can drink you under the table and will have you pogoing and singing along the first (and hundredth) time you hear their songs."
Robotic Empire will re-release the band's first recording, "Scene Suicide," which was originally issued via cassette. The new release, a CDep, will also feature a bonus acoustic track and remastering by Scott Hull (of Pig Destroyer) at Visceral Sound. The effort will be available from both the band and label on February 3rd, then through stores and distros on April 26th. You can check out two remastered MP3s from the EP here.
