Misery Signals announce farewell tour featuring both vocalists: Jesse Zaraska & Karl Schubach

misery signals tease 2024

Canadian metal unit, Misery Signals, has announced a farewell tour scheduled for this Summer featuring both vocalists; Jesse Zaraska & Karl Schubach

"The Blood Is Forever Love Is Forever Farewell tour" will kick off in Vancouver, BC on July 12th and is scheduled to end on October 19th in the band's hometown of Edmonton, AB.

Tickets will go on sale Wednesday, April 3rd, 10 AM local time.

The band shared the following:

Misery Signals has been a band for 22 years, essentially half of our lives. It's afforded us the privilege of sharing stages with bands we admire, who have inspired us. We've forged lifelong friendships with many we've encountered on the road. The responses we've received while performing onstage, coupled with the personal sentiments shared with us offstage, have made these 22 years some of the most cherished moments of our collective lives.

We are eternally grateful for all the support this band has received, and we will never take it for granted. It's time for us to close this chapter of our lives and explore new opportunities individually. We didn't want to conclude this journey without giving our supporters a proper chance to say goodbye. The "Blood is Forever, Love is Forever Farewell Tour" will signify the end of Misery Signals.

A Farewell Tour wouldn't feel complete without our brother, Karl Schubach. These final shows will feature career-spanning sets with both Jesse Zaraska and Karl Schubach performing songs from their respective Misery Signals albums. We're eagerly anticipating seeing you all one last time.

anonymous 4/2/2024 10:08:29 AM

is this "band" good? I keep hearing they aren't as good as Misery Index.

anonymous 4/2/2024 10:09:36 AM

I'll be at the Chicago show if you wanna fight me

anonymous 4/2/2024 10:11:04 AM

This band is fine, but yes, they are not as good as Misery Index.

anonymous 4/2/2024 10:19:14 AM

signals > index aild > zao

anonymous 4/2/2024 10:33:36 AM

what the hell is up with this tour routing? 1 show- 2 days off. 1 show 3 days off. also, not at the metro because they can't sell it out like Harm's Way did.

anonymous 4/2/2024 10:50:14 AM

I'll be selling out the Metro with my Creamy Chris tribute set.

anonymous 4/2/2024 10:56:50 AM

That's a bold statement. Only bands like Harm's Way, Poison the Well reunion, Botch reunion, Drain can sell out the Metro.

anonymous 4/2/2024 11:13:01 AM

Add Misery Index and I'll go.

anonymous 4/2/2024 11:21:14 AM

Weekend Nachos* sold out the Metro. you're all r e t a r d e d

anonymous 4/2/2024 11:52:17 AM

Misery index sucks. Lmao.

anonymous 4/2/2024 12:07:43 PM

Add a Cleveland date with above this fire

anonymous 4/2/2024 12:11:59 PM

Add a Cleveland date with above this fire, skipline, ascension and I will travel from anywhere.

anonymous 4/2/2024 12:40:44 PM

no

anonymous 4/2/2024 12:41:56 PM

LxAxHxC don't need none of this fruit shit garbage. 2 singers that sound exactly the same, whoo boy trash. I wouldn't go if all they played was Year of the Knife covers! Keep That Out Of My Alabama!!!

anonymous 4/2/2024 12:59:55 PM

add a cleveland date with inhale exhale, beneath the sky, corpus christi, twelve tribes and symphony in peril. then i'll go

anonymous 4/2/2024 1:07:19 PM

why now? why not 20 years ago?

anonymous 4/2/2024 1:14:06 PM

Band is not from Canada lol

anonymous 4/2/2024 1:28:16 PM

Does Andy Hurley still pay Stu's bills?

anonymous 4/2/2024 1:57:31 PM

final tour. plays 6 states. come to the south and get you some chicken

anonymous 4/2/2024 2:06:47 PM

Thought these guys quit a long time ago. Anyway, Misery Index play a different genre that is more technical, heavier and faster, so stop whining you metalcore sluts.

anonymous 4/2/2024 2:22:47 PM

Karl GOObach

anonymous 4/2/2024 2:50:48 PM

Skipline!

anonymous 4/2/2024 3:23:03 PM

Misery signals music is compositionally and instrumentally more technical than misery index. I listen to both bands, the polyrythyms, time signatures, and the difficulty they bring to the already creamy riffs of MS make them superior.

anonymous 4/2/2024 3:27:43 PM

Don't lose the pictures this time!

anonymous 4/2/2024 3:45:58 PM

I remember some hot scene chick in JC wearing a Misery Signals hoodie came up to me and started chatting. I was wearing the old BDM KILL hoodie and yeah, wish I hit that.

anonymous 4/2/2024 4:04:05 PM

This should be enjoyable. I hope they play Dream Atlantic, but doubtful, and that's fine.

anonymous 4/2/2024 4:48:12 PM

flying in from new mexico for the regina date, can't wait

anonymous 4/2/2024 5:12:57 PM

" anonymous 1 hour ago This should be enjoyable. I hope they play Dream Atlantic, but doubtful, and that's fine." They didn't play anything off the EP when they played Midwest Meltdown way back when.

lake_flaccid 4/2/2024 6:04:57 PM

Sad news. I'll be at the 1720 crymoshing.

anonymous 4/2/2024 6:05:54 PM

they're going to play dream atlantic. you heard it here first

anonymous 4/2/2024 6:06:07 PM

This band went to shit after the self titled ep.

anonymous 4/2/2024 6:06:59 PM

MATT MATERA HERE. WANNA BUY SOME MERCH OUT OF MY MOM'S CLOSET IN RACINE???

anonymous 4/2/2024 6:44:54 PM

anonymous 55 minutes ago This band went to shit after the self titled ep. Most fart sniffing comment I've read on here in a while

anonymous 4/2/2024 7:32:48 PM

This should be enjoyable. I hope they play Dream Atlantic, but doubtful, and that's fine. Saw them play Lie Captive one time back in the day. That was pretty awesome. Dream Atlantic or Echoes would be sick as well. Looking forward to seeing them at 1720.

anonymous 4/2/2024 7:46:47 PM

" lake_flaccid 39 minutes ago anonymous 55 minutes ago This band went to shit after the self titled ep. Most fart sniffing comment I've read on here in a while" Mosh used to be retarded when they played material from that EP back in the day.

anonymous 4/2/2024 9:12:13 PM

Karl you owe me 5 bucks

anonymous 4/2/2024 9:26:57 PM

The EP was actually 7A7P demos. They were going to put out a split with a band I forget maybe Caliban? Then those songs became the MS EP and Jared joined Martyr AD after Justin from Disembodied left.

anonymous 4/2/2024 9:27:50 PM

" lake_flaccid 2 hours ago anonymous 55 minutes ago This band went to shit after the self titled ep. Most fart sniffing comment I've read on here in a while" That EP has the better version of The Year Summer Ended in June.

anonymous 4/2/2024 9:29:31 PM

The above referenced split was supposed to be with Liar.

anonymous 4/2/2024 9:47:13 PM

Jared and Matera quit 7 Angels shortly after the crash because they didn't feel right carrying on with the band in light of what happened. Both members were pissed that Misery Signals became a thing because they felt like Ryan Morgan and Company didn't respect the passing of their friends enough to put the music on pause for a hot second.

anonymous 4/2/2024 9:51:47 PM

SHANE MERRILL WILL FIND A WAY TO f*ck UP THE CHICAGO AND MILWAUKEE DATES WITH SHITTY OPENING BANDS.

anonymous 4/2/2024 9:53:06 PM

Whole bunch of comments from kids who never saw 7A7P or Misery Signals (in their prime). Keep on fronting.

anonymous 4/2/2024 10:37:08 PM

Midwest once again proving that this area held it down. 7 Angels 7 Plagues Amora Savant Cast From Eden Coma Eternal Dead To Fall Endthisday Misery Signals Nehemiah Undo Tomorrow Wings Of Scarlet With Dead Hands Rising

anonymous 4/2/2024 11:13:21 PM

What ever happened to Nehemiah? That EP with Our Great Deceiver...then they disappeared.

anonymous 4/3/2024 12:13:12 AM

Nehemiah had a bunch of lineup changes then broke up. They briefly got back together and played Midwest Meltdown in Iowa City and another show with Too Pure To Die, With Dead Hands Rising, and Death Sentence (MPLS) in Saint Paul.

AFTER THE BURIAL

anonymous 4/3/2024 12:48:50 AM

Ending your band by having two different singers perform for you really shows a lack of self awareness.

anonymous 4/3/2024 1:40:14 AM

^dumbest comment on here

anonymous 4/3/2024 3:32:42 AM

Never really listened to them, but I'm jamming Controller now. This is a lot different than I expected. It has an artistic flair and a lot of melodic moments. They were kind of like spiritual successors to No Wings hopesfall.

anonymous 4/3/2024 3:40:31 AM

f*ck yeah endthisday Now that's a name I haven't heard in a long long time

anonymous 4/3/2024 4:50:09 AM

I guess the 100k they got from their GOFUNDME finally ran out. More cash grabs to be announced!!!

anonymous 4/3/2024 6:24:35 AM

I hope Karl beats the gay out of Jesse.

anonymous 4/3/2024 6:57:42 AM

Will be at the Brooklyn show. Out of all the bands I've ever seen live misery signals had the cleanest best sound out of all of them playing live. Stoked

anonymous 4/3/2024 7:22:47 AM

scared me, thought it said Misery Index!

anonymous 4/3/2024 8:02:29 AM

I hate that i have to go to Brooklyn for this NYC is shit hole Such is life

anonymous 4/3/2024 8:53:46 AM

I guess the 100k they got from their GOFUNDME finally ran out. More cash grabs to be announced!!! <---"Wycleft Lip" posting from the deathcore "Jon." keep living at home with your parents, recent high school graduate.I'll see you at the fryer on your fast food shift, tonight.

anonymous 4/3/2024 2:17:16 PM

Midwest once again proving that this area held it down. 7 Angels 7 Plagues Amora Savant Cast From Eden Coma Eternal Dead To Fall Endthisday Misery Signals Nehemiah Undo Tomorrow Wings Of Scarlet With Dead Hands Rising 100% backed. Endthisday had one of the best early Gothenburg metalcore albums. Misery Signals honestly had a great run and their least interesting material was still better than any other band that came after them who tried to do this sound.
