Misery Signals tease clip featuring both vocalists: Karl Schubach & Jesse Zaraska

In January, Andrew Neufeld and Stuart Ross of Comeback Kid joined The Vanflip Podcast, where Neufeld hinted at some upcoming developments regarding Misery Signals. Ross, who also plays guitar for Misery Signals, clarified that the band does indeed have plans for 2024. Neufeld further commented that Ross would be keeping busy in 2024.
Recently, Misery Signals shared a 30-second teaser clip featuring past and present members, notably including vocalists Karl Schubach and Jesse Zaraska. Zaraska departed the band in early 2006 after the release of their debut album Of Malice and the Magnum Heart in 2004. Following Zaraska's departure, Misery Signals turned to MySpace for online auditions and quickly found Karl Schubach as their new vocalist, performing their first show together that March.
Schubach spent nearly a decade with Misery Signals, contributing to three full-length albums: "Mirrors" (2006), "Controller" (2008), and "Absent Light" (2013), before "parting ways" with the band. Interestingly, this departure coincided with the reunion of the original lineup, including founding vocalist Jesse Zaraska, for a ten-year anniversary tour of their debut record.
Schubach remained relatively silent on the matter until releasing a statement regarding the split several years later. The relationship between the two groups has seen its ups and downs, but Schubach's inclusion in Misery Signals' future plans suggests a potential reconciliation and a positive step forward.

Post CommentController was one of their best albums they made with good ole Karl.
controller 2008 is their best album and destroyed misery index entire catalog.
One of the best metalcore bands ever. They better play FF and do some west coast shows.
Would kill to see an album with both of them on it, really would. This is probably for a tour though.
That original EP was better than anything they ever did after.
Meh. Karl was the driving force behind the band's success, making them as big as they became. While Jesse was a talented vocalist, he decided to leave the band to pursue a different career path. I think a handful of shows to commemorate Malice would be have been nice but that obviously ruffled feathers. Misery Signals has essentially done nothing since Karl was fired.
Karl is a legend, that solo album he put out still slaps
jesse crawled so karl could run and jesse could crawl again
Evergreen Terrace/A perfect murder/A Life Once Lost/ Fear Before The March Of Flames tour right after Hellfest 04. This was the Woodstock and end of the golden era.
Used to kick Karl's ass outside of O'Hanlons on Tuesdays. Called him Karla back in the day.
Malice is what got this band famous. Karl would never have been successful without Jesse laying down what he laid down on malice.
Seem to recall shows around malice were empty....east coast at least.

I just figured out that Mike Goo is the frontman of the Goo Goo Dolls.
Misery Signals is f*cking shot. Peaked in popularity with Of Malice and it was just kicking the can down the street ever since.
not really i'm 39 and was there for 7a7p and lutikriss. college 03-07. so golden era post is off. at least extends through summer 06 sotu before the goofy shit 07-08
Jesse Zaraska oozes homosexuality. PRIDE 2024.
there are some insane comments but jesse and malice are amazing, karl and controller are amazing, the morgan brothers are geniuses and I pray for new music and a devin townsend mix
well yeah. it's fine. they are all well into their 40s now and have real jobs and families.
2007 Misery Signals tour with Dead Hearts at the Knights Of Columbus Hall in Arlington Heights: Show gets shutdown because the promoter from By A Thread booking hires rental security. Chick catches a backhand in the mosh zone, then makes a big ass scene. She calls the cops, cops come out and shut the show down before MS plays and Karl gets put in cuffs and threatened with being charged for "inciting a riot." Ol boy is uncuffed and everyone's pissed as hell.
