Discordance Axis offshoot set to release debut album

Nearly three years ago, Rob Marton and Jon Chang, former bandmates in New Jersey grindcore act Discordance Axis, started working on new material under the moniker No One Knows What The Dead Think. Shortly thereafter, the pair recruited drummer Kyosuke Nakano (Cohol) and demo recordings commenced. At the time, vocalist Chang had this to say: "Is this the next Discordance Axis album? No. without Dave Witte's involvement, it cannot be Discordance Axis. That said, when I 'retired' after recording the third GridLink record, I was sincere about moving onto other things. Pretty much, the only one I would come back for, was Rob." Fast forward to June 2019, and the group's eponymous debut album is ready for consumption. No One Knows What The Dead Think was recorded by Kevin Antreassian at Backroom Studios and produced by Marton, Chang, and Antreassian. The album will be available in limited production via Willowtip Records on vinyl in a gatefold format, optical in digipak and as digital-only archive on September 20, 2019. In the interim, you can listen to the track "Yorha" below.
