Pig Destroyer, Darkest Hour members launch Zealot RIP

Members of Pig Destroyer and Darkest Hour are among those who have joined forces in Zealot RIP. The fledgling band is comprised of Blake Harrison (Pig Destroyer), Mike Schleibaum (Darkest Hour), Peter Tsouras (Olympia), and Jason Hamacher (Frodus). Schleibaum had this to say about the endeavor: "Old friends making new art! So excited to announce this band I have been working on with good friends! It's been a long road to getting this project ready for the stage but we are alive and this is just one of the many local area shows we have planned! More on our first show soon, but this amazing art announces a killer show we will be doing this September 14th in Baltimore with the one and only Pig Destroyer!" Zealot R.I.P. are teasing the date May 20th for something (see below), so perhaps we'll hear some new music soon.
