Caleb Scofield, bassist and vocalist of Massachusetts band Cave In, was killed yesterday, March 28, in a car crash in New Hampshire. Scofield, age 39, died when his truck collided into a Bedford toll plaza at a high rate of speed.
"It appears the subject was trying to change lanes right before they entered the toll plaza and didn't make the lane quite clear and crashed into the barrier," said state police Sgt. Bryan Trask.
Scofield, also a member of Old Man Gloom, leaves behind a wife and two young children. A fundraising campaign has been launched on their behalf.43 comments
