Suicide Silence frontman accused of sexual misconduct
The shockwaves of sexual misconduct allegations against myriad Hollywood celebrites has, naturally, spilled over into the music world. Among those being accused this week (in addition to Jessey Lacey, Austin Carlile, and Jonny Craig, among others) is Suicide Silence vocalist Eddie Hermida.
The allegations against Hermida came to light on Monday, November 13 when Belgian woman Verena Celis posted a lengthy account on Twitter of her interactions with him, including the 2015 and 2016 exchange of nude photos when she was 17 and he 32. You can view those tweets below. Celis also claims to have subsequently made contact with other girls who've had similar experiences with Hermida.
Hermida has yet to comment on the matter and we cannot corroborate her version of events, so take this for what you will.

She recently just admitted on her twitter that she wasn't trying to accuse him of sexual misconduct, more so emotional abuse. So she's just like every other girl who's been turned down by a guy. That's life, you'll get over it! Sure the age difference is a bit creepy, but I sure as hell knew what I was getting myself into at the age of 17.

Let's be honest for once - 99.9% of all guys in bands (genre, popularity doesn't matter) are seeking out girls at every show/concert to "hang out" before and afterwards. They genuinely don't care their age, and if they can get nude pics or sex from the girls, so be it. That is the generally accepted plan of each night on tour.
