Victory Records signs For The Win

Official press release: San Diego, California's For The Win has a new label home of Victory Records. They will release their new album, Heavy Thoughts, this August. Alternative Press described them as "sweat-soaked, pit-ready pop punk and riff-heavy metalcore." "Over the years we've seen some of our favorite bands thrive on Victory and do some amazing things in this scene, and we are extremely proud to announce our signing and be a part of that," exclaims vocalist Kyle Christensen. "We are excited to work with a label that has put so much effort into some of our favorite bands that we grew up listening to. After visiting the Victory office and meeting all of the amazing staff, we knew this was going to be a massive opportunity for us to put one of our own gold records on that same wall as some of our favorite artists."

anonymous 5/17/2017 1:58:13 PM

Blows my mind how a band could sign to victory in 2017. Self release it....every resource is a computer click away.

anonymous 5/17/2017 2:04:41 PM

No good band would sign with victory anymore They are Bottom of the barrel

In related news: My band was just signed to Ferret Records! Yes, we look forward to a long and lasting relationship in the coming years. We grew up listening to some of our favorite bands on Ferret!

anonymous 5/17/2017 2:45:59 PM

Holy 2010, Batman!

anonymous 5/17/2017 6:24:41 PM

How unfortunate to want to be signed so badly that you completely look past YEARS of horror stories about Victory Records!? Or... are these kids 17 and do not have access to google? I honestly didn't even know that Victory was still a legitimate label after all of the scandalous shit that's gone down. Bummer

anonymous 5/17/2017 6:59:37 PM

Man I remember these guys from when I was a freshman in college and even then they were on the way out who tf would bet on them making money

anonymous 5/17/2017 8:03:30 PM

A Day To Remember did this already 10 years ago & it was better

anonymous 5/17/2017 9:02:56 PM

It's like newfoundglorysavestheday without mic effects met up with a deathcore beat with 2-4 bass drops per song. Do you classisfy it as (insult) or like emodeathcore, deathpop core?

anonymous 5/17/2017 9:04:43 PM

Holy shit have these guys read NOTHING that's been in the news regarding Victory Records over the past few years?! Idiots. By "few" you mean like twenty, right?

anonymous 5/17/2017 9:05:35 PM

haha victory's roster is so beat. there are literally 5 or 6 active bands. terror, islander, jungle rot and some no names. maybe taproot if you want to still count them. throw in the towel Terror isn't even on Victory anymore.

when your label starts signing bands called "Abandoned By Bears" it's time to officially throw in the towel

anonymous 5/20/2017 2:48:54 AM

Im the lesst forgiving member of the band. I'm also a homophobe.

anonymous 5/20/2017 7:15:39 AM

I'm not sure whats' more strange. The fact that Victory signs garbage like this these days. Or the fact that anyone is willing to sign with Victory these days..
