Following many years of an on-again, off-again existence, veteran Boston, Massachusetts hardcore/metal act On Broken Wings has returned in a significant way. For starters, the band has signed a deal with Artery Recordings. The first product of the new partnership will be a new eleven-song On Broken Wings album titled Disintegrator, slated for an August 19 release. Pre-orders for the record are available now in physical and digital formats.
Guitarist Mike McMillen comments: "We're excited to announce our partnership with Artery Recordings and finally show our fans what we've been working on. It's been a long road since we first started working on Disintegrator, and it's gone through a lot of changes since we first started working on it, but this is a record were extremely proud of and we can't wait for all of you to hear it."
To coincide with the announcement, we're exclusively premering the first new track from the aforementioned record. You can stream the song "Quicksand Breaths" below and keep up with On Broken Wings' future endeavors via Facebook.

I really wanted to insult these guys. I mean they are completely delusional and narcissistic, but I can't help but feel sad for these guys. From a musical perspective this is not groundbreaking or even something I would listen to twice.
