Unearth recruits As I Lay Dying, Wovenwar drummer for tour

As drummer Nick Pierce continues to heal from back surgery, Unearth has now lined up Jordan Mancino (Wovenwar, As I Lay Dying) for their forthcoming summer tour dates. Here's the official word:
"With Nick Pierce recovering from back surgery and still unable to tour, we've called on our long time friend and true musician/performer Jordan Mancino to tackle drum duties for all of our upcoming dates through August. Jordan is a force behind the kit and we are grateful he's available to help us continue the ?#?watchingtheworldtour? in the U.S., Canada, Mexico and much of Europe while Nick continues his road back to touring."
Mancino adds: "I am stoked to have this honor filling in for my brother, Nick, while he recovers and heals from his surgery. It's a daunting task to fill Nick's shoes and to play with the metal legacy that is Unearth. I will do my best to support all that is the mosh that Unearth will bring this next month and a half." Meanwhile, Pierce had this to say about his temporary replacement: "My man Jordan Mancino of Wovenwar will be ripping the kit until I return later this year. Jordan is an incredibly tight drummer and hits hard as hell, I can't wait to see what he does for Unearth!"

He's a solid drummer for sure but either these are his buddies or they're using him for the name drop.

Mancinos drumming on Wovenwar is a veritable masterpiece

My only real complaint about Jordan as a drummer and he just feel a little too basic, sometimes. He does an excellent job blending in when he's supposed to, but when everyone's going at it, I feel like he's still trying to blend in, there could be more of an effort made on his end. He is definitely capable, but too elementary, he can't play fills.

I hope they drop him when they record the next album. Everything that guy has done is click track, auto-programmed, colour-by-numbers horse shit.

"Jordan's drumming is too basic blah blah blah" ^lol calm down. AILD and Wovenwar's music is pretty basic metalcore anyway. Can't be fcking Mike Portnoy or Neil Pert while playing that. It'd be obvious the drummer is showing off for the sake of it and just sound gay.
