Terror re-releasing old records through new label

Southern California hardcore band Terror has launched a new label dubbed Defiant Music, through which they will be re-releasing their first three records. Here's the official word:
"A couple years ago Trustkill Records went under and we got the rights back to our first few records. We're re-releasing Lowest of the Low, One With The Underdogs, and Always the Hard Way ourselves on our own brand new label called Defiant Music. "Each release contains bonus material and unreleased songs. One With The Underdogs has been completely remixed and mastered and bumps harder than before." "Each of these releases are available for pre-order now on CD and Vinyl at reaper-records.com."

Does trustkill still owe you money?

anonymous 8/2/2014 10:19:27 AM

why bother with cds? No one buys them.

Will be confused with new terror songs on the count of that they all sound the same.

I love CDs, I hate this digital world, vinyl can't be played in car, when CDs were the top format, the music industry, including hardcore was a lot more alive than it is today. People would make a kind of personal investment in buying a cd, listening to, reading lyrics, now that attention span is mostly gone, all music is free and it has become so disposable to people, especially the typical hardcore kid and underground music goers in general

Also terror rules, I love b-sides and I am really excited to hear a remix/master of one with the underdogs, the vocals are way too loud on that record, they drown out the rest of the band...

anonymous 8/2/2014 11:14:25 AM

I guess Victory really bent them over.

Snoopy2 8/2/2014 11:27:53 AM

Scott will be signing only the real hardcore bands on Warped Tour .

More people buy vinyl/digital/tapes than a cd, people wont even take one for free.

I totally PO'd those represses. bout time vogel and company had their own label. congrats.

I always thought One With The Underdogs would benefit from a re-mixing. That album was really good but sounded like shit.

figues you typical keyboard warriors who talk shit about any other band would back these jockstraps.

anonymous 8/2/2014 3:01:09 PM

Good for them. Road warriors. Deserved

anonymous 8/2/2014 4:56:33 PM

"I love CDs, I hate this digital world" Uh...

Van Flip Twice

anonymous 8/3/2014 12:21:00 PM

Those first three records were solid, damned and the shamed was good too

anonymous 8/3/2014 12:32:52 PM

CDs still make up about 60% of purchased music. LPs under 10%. The more you know, gays.

anonymous 8/3/2014 5:09:23 PM

Still love Terror. Good for them.

anonymous 8/3/2014 11:58:26 PM

Hatebreed ,heaven shall burn and hideous monsters are stoked. Get it? Bands that have put out the same album 6 times yet still worse than the last. Triple vanflip.

anonymous 8/4/2014 5:33:59 AM

the only good terror record is lowest of the low because todd jones (nails, carry on, etc.) wrote it. everything else is fcking trash. old heads and new jacks alike pretend to like it all for 'core cred. pathetic

anonymous 8/4/2014 8:39:58 AM

^ pretty sure todd also wrote one w/ the underdogs, bro

shitinyourhand 8/4/2014 8:41:24 AM

"cave in" has been renamed again on the board to "terror"

anonymous 8/4/2014 11:57:40 AM

anonymous2 days ago I guess Victory really bent them over. Not saying that Victory hasn't bent them over on their current contract but this news only implies that Terror is releasing their OLD albums on a new label. My guess is they signed to Victory for more than 1 album.

anonymous 8/4/2014 8:24:28 PM

why would anyone buy hardcore on vinyl. Such a waste cause it's dumb stupid noise

anonymous 8/5/2014 7:02:23 AM

lowest of the low is stoked

anonymous 8/5/2014 10:08:50 AM

I like Terror. Saw their Tt live show in Chicago a few months ago. Good energy.
