Artery Recordings signs Kublai Khan

Official press release: Artery Recordings continues to expand its roster by mining the underground and adding the best and brightest new metal bands to its repertoire. The latest addition is North Texas metalcore quartet Kublai Khan, which the label warmly welcomes. Kublai Khan will unleash their label debut Balancing Survival & Happiness on the unsuspecting world on April 29, 2014. Don't say we didn't warn you. In addition to making a loud, deadly racket with their music, Kublai Khan view their music as a platform for expression of the issues and problems that plague their plugged-in generation. In this day and age when millennials have their noses buried in their iPhones while the real world passes them by, Kublai Khan bring back that visceral, grab-you-by-the-nape-of-the-neck snarl that forces listeners to pay attention in the here and now. The band's message is one of hope, even though it is encased in a brutal, fangs-bared package. For a taste of the band's metallic maelstrom, check out this teaser clip: Like what you heard? Well, there's plenty more to come, on both April 29 when the album drops and this March when the band heads out on the road as part of The Best in Brutality Tour, featuring Oceano, Broken Hope, Fallujah and Rivers of Nihil.

This is serviceable but that doesn't mean it's good.

Good dudes, about time they caught a break

Tightest live set you'll ever see. If you don't like them you're wrong and probably also impaired.

Good for them. They deserve it. Amazing live and one of the nicest hardest working bands around.

It's hard to take a band serious when they have such a terrible name. If you can look past that shit, the music is alright. Not great, but good enough.

BOUNCE BITCH. BOUNCE BOUNCE.

Holy fcking Nu-Metal batman. Just when we thought this shit was dead and gone. Labels like Artery swooping in to make us hate heavy music. Thanks guys!

Read the lyrics to Color Code and you'll have a higher appreciation for this band. Better message than any typical metalcore band.

Will be forgotten in two months time. Where's the news about Limp Bizkit, what has webby got against Fred Durst?

I really enjoyed their album "Annhilation" from 1986. I wonder if that ex-Megadeth member is still in the band? Oh wait, get a new name you fcks.
