Killwhitneydead LP set for release; debut new song

Killwhitneydead's next album, Suffer My Wrath, has finally been given a release date. The new effort will officially hit streets on June 10th via Tribunal Records. However, in the interim the band is encouraging fans to pre-order the album between now and March 31st, stating, "This is like a Kickstarter/Indiegogo campaign except we aren't using those websites." A final version of the new track "Demons Consume" can be heard below. The song features guest vocals from Shawn Pelata, who has also appeared on some of the band's previous albums.

I was hesitant at first but it's a great new sound for them. Mad respect. They are such a poor band.. but so good , they need some shout out..

i guess no more brilliant guitar riffs and lyrics anymore, just a bunch of boring low tuned bs

anonymous 1/30/2014 1:55:36 PM

They definitely got their own sound that's different from everything not a big fan of the lyrics though. Way too many songs about love, like the singer has to talk about a girl every damn track.

this band is stuck in a different year.

anonymous 1/30/2014 2:08:52 PM

THIS SUX it got boring within 10 seconds of the start of the song.

The child predator singer strikes again

anonymous 1/30/2014 2:42:14 PM

Kyle's riffs are boring and stale. Been here heard that.

He destroyed Bloodjinn for me and here he is again.

anonymous 1/30/2014 2:45:13 PM

Solid track. This band could really benefit from having a less shitty name though.

anonymous 1/30/2014 2:59:55 PM

This is the musical equivalent of a sexually confused teenager. their old fans will hate this shit because there are more lyrics than samples and the lyrics aren't about physical abuse of a woman, and any metal fans will hate this because it's dull and boring compared to every other metal band on the planet. I award you no points, and may god have mercy on your soul. gays.

Tribunal's still a thing? Man they put out some good things in the early 00's, Age of Ruin, Nientara, Heartscarved...

SuckMeBeautiful 1/30/2014 3:30:56 PM

But God, those clean vocals are awful.....

anonymous 1/30/2014 3:38:06 PM

Tribunal founded Atreyu and that's why there still around, back sales probably give the label $50k a year still.

anonymous 1/30/2014 3:40:19 PM

sheesh high vocals sound like he getting beatd by my vacuum

anonymous 1/30/2014 6:56:55 PM

things i learned today: tribunal is still a record label

anonymous 1/30/2014 7:43:24 PM

Okay, a simple "wrong" would've done just fine.

anonymous 1/30/2014 7:49:38 PM

Every couple of years or so I like to come back and see that the same people are still posting their unimportant opinions from their parents bastuffts with the same MAC address and route they were posting from several years ago.

I don't get the hate for this dudes. Matt's a pretty nice dude, and they put on good show back in the day, even with the samples in the live show. This is a change from their older stuff, but it's not bad. And I like that dude Shawn, who does the cleans. He was a good guest vocalist on their last album too. I've liked them since 07, and I'll continue to support them.

anonymous 1/31/2014 11:40:33 AM

Matt is stil a chetto finger dusted bastufft dweller. Re-release that liferuiner record!

Always a good time on Lambgoat. Seriously talk about being stuck in a time warp. Glad to know your comments haven't changed in a decade. Haha. Stoked you remember my LG handle too. Jealousy is a beautiful thing when you let it bloom. We will be announcing tour dates with Islander, Emmure, Meshuggah, Brain Drill very soon!

anonymous 2/1/2014 10:15:26 AM

kwd sucks. tribunal once released good stuff from grievingthedaystocome, nientara, heartscarved...a small handful of bands. killwhitneydead was not one of the good bands on this label. i had the misfortunate of sitting through their set a couple of times and it was very mundane and boring. typically more samples than actual lyrical content. music for men angry at their first ex girlfriend or mother. time to give it up matt.

anonymous 2/1/2014 12:18:54 PM

HELL YEA BO. BAD ASS. KICKS MAJOR dck. CAN'T WAIT FOR THIS RELEASE. GOING TO fckIN TEAR UP THE ROADS AND fck ANYONE UP ON THE WAY. THAT BITCH AT BOJANGLES CAN SUCK MY dck. KWD IS THE BAND OF THIS CENTURY. I'LL KICK her taco LIPS PLUM UP IN HER fckING THROAT.

anonymous 2/1/2014 6:15:30 PM

Maybe he should give up Tribunal and just start a new label like Ferret and Trustkill did. Ha ha.

anonymous 2/2/2014 3:03:06 PM

well Ronnie james dio is rolling in his grave and is 3 inches of blood stoked?

anonymous 2/2/2014 6:37:16 PM

I prefer KWD's movie samples over the same core shit around these days. As long as they samples are funny and stupid as fck then i'm all for it.

anonymous 2/3/2014 2:04:48 PM

KWD can do no wrong in my eyes. Love the new track!
