Varg Vikernes to go on trial in Paris

According to International Business Times, Norwegian black metal musician and Burzum frontman Kristian 'Varg' Vikernes is expected to soon stand trial in Paris, France on charges of "inciting racial hatred and exalting war crimes on the Internet." As you may recall, Vikernes was detained in July shortly after his wife purchased several rifles. French authorities claimed that he had been plotting a "major terrorist act." Ultimately, authorities could find no evidence of a specific plot and Vikernes was released. Vikernes subsequently threatened to sue. French authorities weren't done, however, as IBT says that Vikernes will instead "be tried on incitement charges related to postings on his blog which prosecutors say were anti-Semitic and xenophobic."
