Pelican to release new EP this summer

Pelican has revealed plans to release a limited edition 7" this summer. The effort will feature two new songs from the band and will tentatively hit streets in August via The Mylene Sheath. The EP will be limited to 2000 copies, available via mailorder and the band during their upcoming tour of Europe. Pelican has been at Electrical Audio studios in Chicago, IL as of late recording material for their next full-length.

Very glad for ANY new Pelican product. Sure, I love the "March to the Sea" EP the best, but I love all of their portfolio. Their self-characterization a few years ago as a "triumphant" band is exactly right. I am interested in hearing their new configuration with the new guitarist.
