Last week we told you about Philadelphia hardcore band Punishment and their recent deal with Thorp Records. That deal was to include their upcoming full-length "Broken But Not Dead," which was to be finished in June. Unfortunately though, things may have changed. This past week Punishment's guitarist, Damien, began a tattoo apprenticeship, and the responsibilities of that mean that the band can no longer give 100% to the Thorp full-length. They do hope to have things together in May, but everything is apparently still up in the air. They still intend to tour with Powerhouse in May and June, but unless they can find another guitarist soon, they will be forced to cancel all other touring plans, including their stint with Shattered Realm. As for the full-length, we'll see what happens.
