Ion Dissonance completes new album

Official press release: One of the most powerful, precise and immensely talented bands in chaotic metal, Ion Dissonance recently finished recording their follow-up to their Abacus Recordings debut "Solace." "Solace" established the band a dedicated cult following that is watching the band's every move, with high anticipation for their next release. Ion Dissonance are excited to announce that their new album, titled "Minus The Herd," will be available in stores on June 5th via Abacus. The album was recorded with Zeuss and promises to be the group's most mature and dynamic release to date. You can catch an inside look at drummer JF Richard recording a drum track here. Paul Romano (Mastodon, Trivium) will be doing the artwork and full layout for "Minus The Heard." Romano is an incredible artist and showcases his talent on this release. Ion Dissonance will begin touring next week with Arsis and Beneath The Massacre with a stop at California Metal Fest.

REALLY excited for this cd. skeptical on the new vocalist, just because Gab was awesome. I thought the production on "Solace" fit the music.
