Arkansas' Rwake has begun work on their as-yet-untitled Relapse Records debut. Rwake will record with Sanford Parker at Electrical Audio (High On Fire, Neurosis, Pelican, Zao) and Parker's own Volume Studios (Planes Mistaken For Stars, Unearthly Trance) in early October. The album, the band's third overall, is expected to see an early-2007 release. Tentative song titles include "The Lure of Light," "The Finality," "Fire and Flight" and "The Cosmos Inverted."

Rwake IS AMAZING. I got the singer so stoned one time at metalfest that he passed out in the bleachers. Right fcking on.
