Abacus Recordings signs Faulter

Official press release: Orange County, CA melodic rock band Faulter have chosen to make Abacus Recordings their label home. "Faulter is very excited to be a part of the Abacus family," says vocalist/songwriter Andy Carpenter. With a sweet smile he continued, "Sure it's a great label, but mostly we want to go sky-diving with [Abacus owner] Robert." The endearing gentlemen of Faulter have been hard at work the past few years becoming one of the most sought after unsigned bands in the country. Producer Jon St. James, known for his work with the Ataris, Social Distortion, and Face To Face amongst others, immediately saw the band's talent and mass potential when he heard their first demo and teamed up with the band to help them produce their self-released album "Darling Buds Of May" that Abacus Recordings will be making available nationally on September 19th.
