Two of the most inspired, iconoclastic and influential record labels in the independent underground today, San Francisco's Neurot Recordings (the collectively-operated label run by Bay Area legends Neurosis) and Richmond, VA's Robotic Empire have teamed up for one of the most impressive showcases at the CMJ Music Marathon Festival 2005. The Neurot Recordings/Robotic Empire dual showcase takes place on Saturday night, September 17th at Tonic -- suitably bringing the week-long festival to a close.
The impressive line-up includes Enablers, Red Sparowes, and Made Out Of Babies. Tonic Bar is located at 107 Norfolk Street in NYC and the showcase begins promptly at 8:30 pm on Saturday, Sept. 17th. The schedule is as follows:
