Australian metalcore band from the early aughts, I Killed the Prom Queen, are teasing something. The band have been inactive since 2015, with their future remaining uncertain following the 2021 passing of bassist Sean Kennedy and controversy surrounding former frontman Michael Crafter.
Back in September, they posted a reel on Instagram featuring their logo and the Roman numerals MMXXV — 2025. Last night, they followed it up with a more theatrical teaser: the logo again, now accompanied by crushing guitar riffs and a caption that reads, "Another rumor started…"
The reel also tags a handful of individuals — presumably some new members — suggesting that something more concrete may be on the horizon.
