Kylesa expand reunion line up to include Nausea's Roy Mayorga and John Jesse, add U.S. dates

Kylesa has locked in their reunion lineup ahead of their 2025 comeback shows. Joining founding members Laura Pleasants and Phillip Cope are Roy Mayorga (Ministry, Stone Sour, ex-Nausea) on drums and John John Jesse (ex-Nausea) on bass.
The group have also added three more U.S. dates to their previously announce shows, Toronto, ON, Savannah, GA, and New York City, NY. Full dates listed below.
In a new Decibel interview, Pleasants revealed the lineup shift started when Jesse slid into her DMs on Instagram:
John John hit me up on IG 'reporting for duty,' should we need a bass player. We had already made our first announcement about Roadburn and Inferno, so word was out that we were reforming. Although we were talking about lineup possibilities in the background, we had not yet solidified a band. I was a bit shocked when I heard from John John, so I half-jokingly texted him back saying, 'Sure! Just hit up Roy and we'll be off to the races.' The next day I got a phone call from Roy!
When I called Phillip about the possibility of jamming with these guys, I could hardly contain myself. I was like, 'Dude, ok, are you sitting down? I have some news' I think it was Phillip who turned me on to Nausea in the first place when I was probably 18. We're longtime fans and even covered a song of theirs back in the day.

Post CommentGeriatric Ward bands desperately need the money for their chronic medicine hence the reunion shows
How 'bout a Nausea reunion? Vic Venom is still around in NYC. Neil is in Portland OR. Amy is a rightwinger I think, so no to her maybe - she sucked anyway. Where's AL?
You'd rather have a different person do vox at the show if the singer switched political teams?
You'd rather have a different person do vox at the show if the singer switched political teams? ^no, retard , the point is a right-winger wouldn't want to front a left-wing band.
You'd rather have a different person do vox at the show if the singer switched political teams? Considering Nausea were a lefty band, probably?

Amy is not right wing, not even close to it, though she is completely removed from music and has a busy career. The members she is in contact with respect that and leave it alone. Source - me, harassing the former members about a reunion for over a decade.
