Ozzy Osbourne rips Kanye West for sampling Black Sabbath's "War Pigs" without permission

Ozzy Kanye

Ever-controversial rapper Kanye West has recently drawn the ire of heavy metal legend Ozzy Osbourne for sampling a section of Black Sabbath's 1983 live performance of "War Pigs" on West's new album 'Vultures.' West premiered the new track recently at a listening party in Chicago, ignoring Osbourne's explicit no-go to use the sample.

Osbourne, not one to mince words, took to social media to share his disdain for West, spotlighting the unauthorized usage of the sample and dubbing him an antisemite that he wants zero ties with.

Ozzy stated:

@kanyewest ASKED PERMISSION TO SAMPLE A SECTION OF A 1983 LIVE PERFORMANCE OF "WAR PIG" FROM THE US FESTIVAL WITHOUT VOCALS & WAS REFUSED PERMISSION BECAUSE HE IS AN ANTISEMITE AND HAS CAUSED UNTOLD HEARTACHE TO MANY. HE WENT AHEAD AND USED THE SAMPLE ANYWAY AT HIS ALBUM LISTENING PARTY LAST NIGHT. I WANT NO ASSOCIATION WITH THIS MAN!
