Ronnie Radke banned from TikTok for views on gender identity

Falling In Reverse frontman Ronnie Radke, known for involvement in various social media feuds, has once again found himself at the center of controversy. This time, his contentious stance on gender identity led to a ban from the popular video-sharing platform TikTok.

Over the past week, Radke has been taking to Twitter to express his opinions on trans issues and the rights of biological women. In a series of tweets, Radke criticized those who accuse him of being a womanizer, abuser, and bigot, arguing that they were the same people supporting the idea that trans individuals can experience menstruation and endorsing tampon companies featuring trans individuals as spokespersons. Though he is not one, he feels this trend belittles the biological struggles faced by cisgender women.
Imagine getting your tik tok deleted, or losing your job or alienated for saying that a trans woman can't have a period, you all have mothers and sisters and wives and girlfriends and know damn well the struggles of being a born women and the pain of endometriosis etc and have…

One of Radke's Twitter posts featured a photo of Dylan Mulvaney, a trans influencer, holding a box of Tampax tampons. In this tweet, Radke criticized the choice of Mulvaney as a spokesperson, arguing that it was "extremely offensive to all women."
The same people that call me a womanizer, abuser, and bigot are the same people that support the ideology that trans can have periods and support tampon companies making trans the spokesperson. It's extremely offensive to all women, to mock their biology. stop pretending this is… pic.twitter.com/OrjD8GHHUJ

Additionally, to reinforce this idea, he joked about modifying the lyrics of his song "I'm Not a Vampire" from "lady" to "birthing person" to skewer the concept of gender pronouns.
I have officially changed my lyrics In I'm not a vampire from
"I feel like a lady that is pregnant with a baby"
to
"I feel like a birthing person that is pregnant with a person who's been birthed"

Radke didn't stop there. He continued to voice his concerns about the impact of these discussions on American youth, claiming that it was leading to confusion. He went on to suggest that there may be larger forces at play hoping to redefine what it means to be a man or a woman.
these are the people pushing back about common sense, all impressionable kids hiding behind cartoon avatars, if you don't think this is insanely telling about the future I don't know what will, we have brainwashed kids into thinking that basic biology and common sense need to be… pic.twitter.com/y9nCVz4P0b

Radke continued, ironically asking fans to respect his self-identification as a black man, insinuating that if he were to receive such recognition, he would then reciprocate by respecting someone's identification as a woman.
Cool I identify as a black man, do I get my reparations now? https://t.co/gijs4MNMlX
— RonnieRadke (@RonnieRadke) July 26, 2023
It's not a completely different thing, you need the respect the fact that I identify as a black man if you want me to respect you identify as a woman, you aren't allowed to pick and choose. https://t.co/DfV3t3YQTu

So you are saying I can't choose to identify with whatever I want? But you are allowed to? That's transphobic. https://t.co/gefXUhu05a

He further went on to clarify his "identity" as a good person rested on his quiet support of others, both financially and emotionally, and that those that disagreed with him should be labeled as "transphobic, bigot pieces of sh*t" for claiming the opposite.
I identify as a good person because of how many people I have helped quietly financially, emotionally and spiritually, but y'all say I'm a bad person so ALL of you are literally transphobic, bigot pieces of shit for assuming the wrong identify of me and I will not tolerate it https://t.co/I2dwwlnTHj

The arguments then spilled over onto TikTok, where Radke continued posting videos arguing with commenters over his views on cisgender and trans women. Ultimately, Radke faced consequences for the controversial remarks, leading to his ban from TikTok. Despite the repercussions, he maintained a defiant attitude, asserting that the ban held no significance for him.

Though not officially banned from Twitter (X) yet, Radke does say he has now been shadow banned from the platform.
