Darko album complete, pending Tom Barber's vocals

With more time to focus on Darko after having announced his departure from Spite, Josh "Baby J" Miller has been in the lab hard at work on new material for his deathcore project with Tom Barber. Miller recently revealed on Instagram that a 20-song Darko album is nearly complete, with the last hurdle being Barber's vocals.

No word from Barber on when his half of the equation will be complete. However, it should be noted that Chelsea Grin, Barber's other project, has roughly a month before any tour dates are scheduled, potentially giving Barber the window he needs to complete his part.

In addition to the recent Darko reveal, it appears the former Spite and Emmure drummer has packed up shop and moved from Sacramento to Los Angeles, where he has formed a new group dubbed Cigarette Smoke along with two other musicians, guitarist Mikhael Dane and producer Nymz. Though the musical style of the new trio is unclear, what we do know is that Miller will be contributing vocals to the project. 

In a post announcing that project Miller shared:

been waiting on this for a long time. so stoked to announce a new project! @cigarettesmokemusic. this has been in the works for some time now and we are getting ready to release some music for y'all. i'm singing on this so it's different then what you are used to getting from me. this is a brand new page so please if you can everyone go give the page a follow ! we will be releasing music soon.
