Spite drummer Josh Miller leaves band, Darko now his priority

Josh Miller

Spite's drummer, Josh "Baby J" Miller, has decided to step away from the band. Miller explained that his focus will now be on his project Darko, which he is working on with Tom Barber of Chelsea Grin

While Spite has not yet given any official statement regarding Miller's departure, Miller himself spoke out about the situation on social media. In his statement, expressed his gratitude for the time he spent with Spite and thanked the band and its fans for their support. Miller also shared that he is excited to focus on Darko now that he has more time to devote to the project and let us know that a new album is coming.

Miller had previously joined Emmure in 2016, though he quit that band in 2021.

Miller said:

"i've been getting a lot of messages the past few days so i just want to address it here so there's no confusion. i am no longer playing drums in spite. my time with the band was nothing but amazing. so greatful for the time i got to spend with these guys. moving forward i would to put more time into @darkoband. with how much i've been touring the past year i haven't been able to put as much time as i would into darko and now that i am back at home i can really focus. thanks for all the support and everyone i got to meet during my time in spite. new darko album is coming 😬"
