Varials drop from Crown The Empire tour, frontman hospitalized
Philadelphia-based metalcore band Varials has announced their withdrawal from the upcoming mini-tour with Crown The Empire. The decision was made following a serious van accident involving the band's frontman, Mitch Rogers, who is currently hospitalized with a serious lung condition that requires surgery and bed rest. The band hopes to resume their touring schedule soon, starting with the INKcarceration festival.
The band shared:
"Hey Everyone, It breaks our hearts to do so, but unfortunately we have to pull from our upcoming shows with Crown the Empire. Mitch was in a very serious van accident last week while heading home from a show on tour, and has since been hospitalized with a serious lung condition, which requires surgery and bedrest. He is recovering, and we are expecting to resume our touring schedule at INKcarceration. Thank you for understanding and we will see you all soon."
