Southern Californian band Exmortus has released "Beyond The Grave", the third single from their upcoming 6th studio album "Necrophony". The song is filled with intense rhythms, guitar solos, and menacing vocals that showcase the band's prowess in the underground metal genre.
The album is set to launch on August 25 by Nuclear Blast Records, and fans are encouraged to pre-order it through the band's website. A lyric video created by Wayne Joyner, the graphics designer for Dream Theater and Devin Townsend, has also been released on YouTube.
Guitarist/vocalist Conan remarked that the song was influenced by The Evil Dead movies and is excited about performing it on their upcoming tours:
"We're excited to show off yet another intense song from the new album with awesome visuals by Wayne Joyner. Heavily inspired by the Evil Dead movies, this piece interprets the madness of possession with fast rhythms and licks on each instrument. We're sure to have fun performing this one on tours to come."
