Foo Fighters release their longest song ever with new single, music video

Foo Fighters have given another taste from their upcoming record, But Here We Are, with the release of "The Teacher", a 10-minute rock epic and the longest song the band has ever recorded. The track comes accompanied by a short film co-directed by Tony Oursler, which can be seen below.
The new album marks the band first release since the death of former drummer Taylor Hawkins last year. "The Teacher" is the fourth track to be released from the album following "Rescued", "Under You" and "Show Me How", which featured guest vocals from Dave Grohl's daughter Violet.
Earlier this month, Foo Fighters revealed their new drummer Josh Freese, who has taken over from Hawkins. The band resumed touring and festival appearances in May, eight months after their last series of Hawkins tribute shows that brought 2022 to a close. The previous release by the band, Medicine at Midnight, was back in 2021.
