Cynic's revitalized version of their 1993 debut album Focus continues to impress with the release of another remastered track. The highly-regarded progressive metal band has meticulously remixed and remastered the album in honor of its upcoming 30th anniversary in September. Renamed "ReFocus," the album is set to be released on June 09th.

The latest revamped song to be unveiled is "Textures." Additionally, Cynic has exciting plans for a 30th-anniversary tour across North America this summer, where they will perform in support of the album. Joining them on this tour will be Atheist, who will also be celebrating their first three albums during the co-headlining shows.

It sounds digitized, compressed, and harsh. Modern metal production sucks. Hopefully they come out with a better remix for vinyl.
