Lamb Of God to have Vio-lence guitarist Phil Demmel fill in on for South American shows

As first reported on Blabbermouth; Phil Demmel, the former Machine Head and current Vio-lence guitarist, is filling in for Willie Adler on three South American Lamb Of God shows this week. This is not Demmel's first time filling in for Adler as he also did so during Lamb Of God's European tour in August 2022, the January 2022 appearance on the ShipRocked cruise, and in May for the Canadian portion of Lamb Of God's "The Metal Tour Of The Year" with Megadeth. Adler is expected to rejoin his bandmates in time for their May 2 show in Mexico City.
Demmel played with Lamb Of God on Tuesday, April 25, in Bogotá, Colombia, and will perform with the band on Thursday, April 27, in Santiago, Chile, and on Saturday, April 29, at the Summer Breeze festival in São Paulo, Brazil. Lamb Of God singer Randy Blythe praised Demmel's talent and ability to step in at short notice during an interview in August 2022.
Although Lamb Of God has not officially commented on Adler's absence from the shows, Vio-lence singer Sean Killian revealed in an interview in April 2022 that Adler is "not down with doing the vaxx" and is being replaced by Demmel for shows in countries that still require proof of vaccination from U.S. travelers.
