hammerhedd

Official press release:

American tech-metal trio Hammerhedd has released a new single from their yet-to-be-announced sophomore album. Fresh off an October US tour run opening for Swedish metal legends In Flames, the Ismert brothers are back with another offering, preceded by the release of "Tunnel" last month.

The fraternal Kansas City-based outfit has dropped the track "Fruition" - an eight-minute epic that showcases their talents as heavy progressive acolytes. The new single is accompanied by a visualizer, which can be seen below.

On "Fruition", the Ismert brothers comment,

"We're excited to share our newest single with the metal masses! It's dark, prodding, and heavy as hell! We hope you enjoy the new sonic landscapes we explore in 'Fruition'"

Maybe since they're white they will do better than that band of black kids from like 5 years ago did.

I think you mean "plodding". Whatever, who even cares enough to rip on this garbage.

Not a bad thing, but these guys are going to get compared to Tool a lot.

Gen Z Hanson. These kids will be a band for about 6 months before they realize playing rock music nets you zero pussy in 2022

Did their mom have to drive the van on tour and chaperone them?

Kansas City Community College has a trucking school

Once they hit puberty in a couple of weeks and begin to realize that boobs exist, this band will be defunct faster than one of these guys would reach climax if a girl touched them.

Lambgoat, the only metal site covering the hard-hitting middle school scene. Can't wait to see the article about their upcoming tour at the school talent show.

Hedd! Move!

anonymous 11/14/2022 5:26:34 PM

Lambgoat went to absolute shit immediately after the new guy took over.

How soon do they start hitting speedballs and doing lines of coke off of hookers asses like true rockers?

anonymous 11/14/2022 11:09:19 PM

Groomers are very, very stoked about this band.

anonymous 11/14/2022 11:53:48 PM

Even Tool hates this.

Gen Z Hanson. These kids will be a band for about 6 months before they realize playing rock music nets you zero pussy in 2022 ^^ Look at them for f*cks sake. They still think girls have coooties.

TRUMP 2024

Would be great to hear something other than a simpler meshuggah and gojira for once. Other than that, they're great musicians

anonymous 11/15/2022 7:36:07 AM

This shows promise, I wasn't crazy about their last album. Glad the singer is starting to grow into his "adult voice", kid vox were very hard to see past. Hopefully they continue to pull away from the literal Gojira influence and find their own way. Still, the writing here is better than 90% of the utter trash that circulates on this site. Also, lol at 'Hedd, move!"

anonymous 11/15/2022 12:46:15 PM

is Lambgoat for pedos now? Wtf is this.

anonymous 11/15/2022 4:17:29 PM

There was always kind of a tool influence floating in the background of some of their songs, but this is the first overt tool rip off. These kids are great, but go back to heavy stuff we don't need this
