Ex-Lorna Shore vocalist CJ McCreery launches new band Immortal Disfigurement
Whether you like it or not, CJ McCreery is back in the deathcore game.
As promised, former Lorna Shore and Signs Of The Swarm frontman CJ McCreery has returned from his ignominious exile with a new band.
The new outfit is called Immortal Disfigurement and also features guitarist Josh Freeman β who used to be in A Wake In Providence with current Lorna Shore frontman Will Ramos β and bass player Shane Slade (Winds of Plague).
Immortal Disfigurement's debut single, "Dragged Through the Inferno," is available now via all streaming platforms and its official video (directed by Joey Durango) is available here:

Making a song that practically has the same title as Through the Hellfire and starting with some goth classical sounding intro and then the " singer" does all these vocal gymnastics hoping one of his tricks will go viral on Tik Tok. I don't want to say that "CJ" means "Complete Joke", this wouldn't be friendly. I just think CJ is a normal, typical forename children often receive. There are 7843 people with this forename in the US alone. When you take a look at bands like "Brand of Sacrifice" or new "Infant Annihilator", those firstly are demonic vocals in perfection. And a real man has emotions but is stoic/manly in front of a camera, he simply does not show feminine emotion and doesn't make chicken dancing moves in his youtube channel videos. CJ appears try-hard and feminine-vulnerable, trying to hide behind a image that has holes, holes that need to be closed for authencity. He should start to act more stoic, dye his hair in a darker and make his vocals more clear and add lower tones to his voice.
