Post CommentI don't think I've listened to any of these songs
Code Orange should be on this. Guess they were never meant to leave the basement :(
There was a time when winning a Grammy meant something. I remember watching the awards show excited to see the performances and see who the winners were, but I'm not as excited as I used to be.
remember when AILD was nominated and Tim posted a whole screed about boycotting the show
Todd Jones here. China from Deftones called your man up about playing guitar in his 15th side project, Porcelain Orchid. A supergroup with Dane Bland (FoH) on drums, Post Mahomes on bass, and that weird homeless veteran guy from Death Grips rambling into a mic with the verb/delay both turned to 10. There was only so much room for the alphas to prowl, so I put on my aviators and latered those posers for eternity. They will never be one of us.
lol only one metal band on the whole f*cking list and it is the f*cking foo fighters lololololol
Gojira blows! Rob Zombie isn't metal. ^^^ Embarrassing comment... FALSE.
all boring. still better than code orange, turnstile or knocked loose getting any play. ripping off warriors and norma jean 15 years later and packaging it as ground breaking. hacks
Do they even air these categories or the Grammys as a whole anymore?
Wait...no Turnstile The Second Coming of Hardcore (311-Snapcase mashup in reality)? All this press hype... Oh wait, they FINALLY sold out an NYC show after ELEVEN YEARS in existence but not really cuz: 1. Promoters & booking agents always lie about turnout. 2. They needed Ceremony & Citizen to push it to a sellout. 3. Ticket resellers & flippers inflate sales - check out the ridiculous prices on VividSeats.com & other ticket reseller sites. Sure a sellout if just 200 people buy 800 tickets for an 1800 capacity room & Ceremony-Citizen alone draw 400. In fact I bet Bowery Presents & Live Nation pay kids say $20 to buy 4 tickets each. Easy money - the kid buys 4 tickets & is reimbursed the cost plus $20 for maybe a minute or two of work.
The live music promotion business is total manufactured garbage sleaze. Let's have some fun here. Say Year Of The Knife is chosen as the next big thing (I know but try to control your laughter & suspend belief here.) Live Nation books them into Irving Plaza with two no draw pieces of crap. They give out 1000 tickets for free & pay each attendee $100 to show up. That's 100K to buy a crowd - a drop in the bucket & a tiny price to spread the illusion that YOTK is the newest big band to come out of hardcore. 200 dopes pay $30 to get in & YOTK is paid that (the two openers zilch.) They then get put on big tours & fests their main booster Joe Hardcore could only dream of doing. If they take off, great. If not oh well & they at least pay their rent. And it isn't just hardcore & metal who does this. Look at your average latest slew of bands headlining Bowery Presents shows. WHO THE F UCK ARE MANY OF THESE BANDS? A two dude laptop dance band selling out Terminnal 5 or so BP says.
To the todd jones joker, keep it up, I almost pissed my pants laughing at this one hahaha
Understand this: Corporations who one of could pay Lambgoat enough money to shut down this site & retire are behind ALL shows. They manufacture demand as the price of doing business. Taco Bell could bankroll Knocked Loose, EA Sports Turnstile, Netflix Code Orange. Each could pay their respective band 1M cash per member to be touring billboards & these bands would sell their future firstborns to be that. "Taco Bell Presents Knocked Loose..."
remember when AILD was nominated and Tim then tried to hire someone to murder his wife?
Gojira blows! Rob Zombie isn't metal. ^^^ Embarrassing comment... FALSE. ^^^how am I wrong?
remember when macklemore won over kendricks good kid maad city? whats a f*cking joke
Deftones last 2 albums are straight up bad and very boring and lack imagination and creativity... Cabal should be on the list . I mean best metal performance most definitely NOT Deftones ...years ago I'd go aggressive towards ppl dissing Deftones , now i am encouraging . Sergio Vega go away , mike shinoda gtfo . Deftones go back to being good , idk , somewhere between 15 and 25 years ago would be ok. The game is obviously rigged if u leave Jinjer out of best metal performance. Phuk this schitt
^ Gore was awful but Ohms is fantastic. Get your ears checked.
I love Gojira but I think they should have won for their Magma nomination not for their current nomination. I realize opinions are like a-holes and we all have them. ;-)
<<Think I give a damn about a Grammy?>> Which member of Turnstile anonymously posted this? 😂😂😂
AC/DC is the best band out of this entire lineup.
