Midwest metalcore outfit Dead To Fall originally broke up in 2008 after a decade and four albums (with Victory Records) together. Playing sporadic shows in the years afterwards, the band officially regrouped in 2017 and began work on a new record, which was purportedly slated for a 2018 release.
It's 2020 now, and though Dead To Fall obviously still haven't released the aforementioned album, they've now issued a new track, their first new material in twelve years.
Titled "No One Is Coming to Help," the new song was released to benefit X-Ray Arcade and Empire Productions and is available for streaming and/or download here:
Dead To Fall comment: "We're posting our first new song in 12 years as a benefit to X-Ray Arcade and Empire Productions. It's called 'No One Is Coming to Help'. You can stream it on our Bandcamp page and donate what you can to help these guys out. Throughout our time as a band we have had incredible opportunities in Chicago and Milwaukee from the hard work of both Andy Parmann and Shane Merrill. It's going to be a while until shows get back to normal, and when they do, we want to do shows with these amazing humans. In the mean time it's up to us in the rest of the community to keep things afloat. 100% of the proceeds from this song will be split between the two. Even if you don't live near those cities there are venues, artists and promoters struggling to keep the lights on near you. Figure out how you can help, because you can't count on anyone else to do it for you."
