Rohnert Park, California band Ceremony have officially inked a deal with Relapse Records and will release a new studio album this summer.
Titled In the Spirit World Now, the album was produced and engineered by Will Yip (Circa Survive, Title Fight) at Studio 4 in Pennsylvania, mixed by Ben Greenberg (Pharmakon, The Men) at Transmitter Park in New York City, and features artwork by Gregory Ito. The eleven-song outing will hit streets on August 23 through Relapse.
To coincide with the announcement, Ceremony have unveiled a video for new single "Turn Away The Bad." The clip was directed by Muted Widows and can be viewed now via The Fader.
"We knew this had to be the best thing we have ever done. We couldn't come back after four years with a record that only had a few good songs... Not reflecting on the evolution of the band is what keeps us motivated. There is always a song we haven't written, a band we haven't played with, artwork we haven't thought of. We are creators by nature, not by choice," says guitarist Anthony Anzaldo.
