ex-Oh, Sleeper bassist Lucas Starr battling colon cancer

Lucas Starr diagnosed with colon cancer Former Oh, Sleeper bass player Lucas Starr was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer last month shortly after going to the hospital for abdominal pain. Starr, age 34, was a member of Oh, Sleeper from 2006 until 2011 and appeared on the band's first three records, The Armored March, When I Am God, and Son of the Morning. Upon his diagnosis, a GoFundMe campaign was launched to help offset medical expenses. "Terminal" on a show for a dude with cancer. Also, it's nice of them to do a benefit show but I doubt the $9 they make from the door will go very far towards his medical bills...
