To celebrate their 20th anniversary, Lamb Of God recently revived their original moniker, Burn The Priest, to release a new covers album titled Legion: XX. In its first week of release, the record sold roughly 6,700 copies in the United States, landing at No. 107 on the Billboard 200. Meanwhile, Legion: XX also debuted at No. 20 on the Top Album Sales chart and No. 6 on the Hard Rock Albums chart.
It's difficult to compare this showing with that of Lamb Of God's previous album, VII: Sturm Und Drang, which sold 47,000 copies in its first week back in 2015. An album of covers released under a lesser-known band name isn't exactly a recipe for success.
