Light This City premieres their first new song in 10 years

Reactivated Bay Area, California melodic death metal act Light This City has unveiled the first single from their forthcoming album, Terminal Boom, the band's first new record since 2008 The new track, titled "A Grotesque Reflection," can be streamed below, while Terminal Bloom, will be available on May 25 through Creator-Destructor Records.

Dry production, no depth, no low end whatsoever. Tempo 66% what it should be. Playing is mechanical as hell. Not good and terribly weak.

I admittedly remember enjoying their early stuff like, 'remains of the gods', but this is indeed really weak. It comes off so forced, so borrowed, and so half assed. I'm curious if the slow pace/tempo was something talked about and a conscious decision ....because good lord that makes it come off so beginner-ish/ameuterish... ... In conclusion, this is pretty god damn underwhelming.
