Tyler "Telle" Smith, vocalist of Arizona metalcore band The Word Alive, suffered a compound fracture of his tibia while performing in Los Angeles, CA this week. Smith had this to say:
"Last night while closing our show in LA with Trapped, I had a fall in the balcony and suffered a compound fracture of my tibia. Luckily doctors were able to use a technique to prevent the need for surgery (at least for now) to allow me to continue on with the tour. I'll be in a chair the remainder of the tour and recovery in a cast for the rest of the year so come out and give TWA all of the energy you can! See you guys soon, thank you!"
