Thick As Blood members cast in new Netflix series

Gino Vento and Randy Gonzales of Thick As Blood in Bloodline Official press release: Former Thick As Blood band mates Gino Vento (vocals) and Randy Gonzalez (guitar) have been busy pursuing their other passion-- acting, since the Miami hardcore metal band disbanded following the release of their 2012 Rise Records LP, 'Living Proof' and final tour in 2014. The musicians turned actors will next appear in recurring roles on the highly anticipated Netflix original series, 'Bloodline', which premieres on March 20. Starring Kyle Chandler (Friday Night Lights), Ben Mendelsohn (The Dark Knight Rises), Linda Cardellini (Mad Men), legendary actress Sissy Spacek and acclaimed actor/playwright Sam Shephard, "Bloodline" is a dramatic thriller that explores the demons lurking beneath the surface of a contemporary American family. anonymous 2/24/2015 10:43:21 AM

Do they have actual parts, or are you going to see one in the background, serving coffee or some shit?

anonymous 2/24/2015 10:54:16 AM

Toured with these homeboys when I was in liferuiner. From hardcore to hollywood

anonymous 2/24/2015 11:55:31 AM

The members of Spandau Ballet are also actors these days. Just sayin'...

anonymous 2/24/2015 11:57:04 AM

well they have plenty of experience acting like a real hardcore band

anonymous 2/24/2015 12:22:12 PM

I wonder how many producers they had to blow to get these parts.

anonymous 2/24/2015 12:35:14 PM

Good for both of them, but this doesn't change the fact that Gina's a fcking prick and will be an even bigger one now.

I like the band, have had some great times chilling with them in the past, never seen this coming. will watch. fck people who hate on others that pursue their love and dreams. Most of the people on this site bag on everything and that's why most people dig on the comments. I for one hope these dudes stay in the acting scene. Most of you net warriors will never even get close to being in a nationally known band, let alone a netflix series. Marinate, nigz.

Most of you net warriors will never even get close to being in a nationally known band, let alone a netflix series. Marinate, nigz. It's not hard to start a band who draws 45 people

anonymous 2/24/2015 6:36:03 PM

This is good.

anonymous 2/24/2015 7:55:07 PM

Never listened to this band but fck whoever hates on this, good for them. A hardcore band probably won't get you anywhere and while it may not be lead roles it could be a huge opportunity for them to have a successful career and actually make some good money.

anonymous 2/25/2015 3:16:48 AM

anonymous 2/25/2015 5:31:46 AM
