Betraying The Martyrs were denied entry into Canada yesterday, forcing the band to miss five scheduled shows of their current run with Reflections and Invent, Animate. Here's the official word:
"We're extremely sad to announce that, for reasons out of our control, we were denied entry to Canada yesterday.
"Our drummer Mark Mironov was not able to make it through the borders due to visa issues.
"We were super excited to play these shows and we know it's been a while since we last performed in Canada, so we'll make our top priority to make it up to you guys as soon as we're back in North America in 2015!"

The drummer's DUI is certainly within his control.

"We're extremely sad to announce that, for reasons out of our control, " LOL...Ebola is something completely out of your control. Visa issues are 100 percent something you can control if you're not a total fuuck up.
